Trump has agreed to not raise tariffs on China

President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping had agreed to not raise tariffs any further between both countries.

China had agreed to buy a “very substantial” amount of American agricultural products and adressed issues like “intellectual property, structural changes with respect to forced technology transfer, non-tariff barriers, cyber intrusions and cyber theft, services and agriculture”.

This meeting was very productive for both countries at the G20 summit in Argentina and incredibly valuable after Trump raised tariffs on Chinese products from 10% to 25% after January 1st, 2019.

Progress made in this meeting point out that the “trade war” between China and United States is not over, but both countries keep having good relations and dealing with very important issues like fentanyl exports that from now on will be punished by the Chinese government.
