Democrat candidate for 2020 presidential elections Kamala Harris is backing up single-payer health care fiercely as one of her main priorities if she was elected during next year’s Democrat primary elections.

“The idea is that everyone gets access to medical care, and you don’t have to go through the process of going through an insurance company, having them give you approval, going through the paperwork, all of the delay that may require,” said Harris on Monday on CNN.

Sanders proposed legislation is gaining supporters among Democrat leaders. Right now, it’s almost impossible to imagine a Democrat presidential nominee not supporting many of the progressive agenda that leaders like Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ro Khanna or Rashida Tlaib.

The single-payer plan is, at the moment, co-sponsored by Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Kirsten Gillibrand, among presidential contenders.
