41st president of the United States George Herbert Walker Bush has died at 94 after he was diagnosed with vascular parkinsonism. He became the first U.S. president in history to reach that age. Barbara Bush, his wife, also died in April this year.
George H. W. Bush was born in Milton. He started his career in politics after founding his own oil company, being elected as a congressman. After being Vicepresident for eight years and leading the fight against drugs, in 1988 he became the 41st president of the United States.
It was his son George W. Bush, 43rd president of the United States who announced this sad news on Twitter at 12:17AM tonight.

President Donald Trump said that “his example lives on” as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton, who also wanted to offer their condolences to the family giving thanks for “his great long life of service, love and friendship” or Barack Obama, who said “America has lost a patriot. Our hearts are filled with gratitude”.
Hillary and I mourn the passing of President George H. W. Bush, and give thanks for his great long life of service, love and friendship. I am grateful for every minute I spent with him and will always hold our friendship as one of my life’s greatest gifts. https://t.co/1CYdrIeKmz
